Mubasher: The extraordinary general meeting of Awj Holding on Tuesday agreed to change the name of the company to Mashaer Holding.

The attendance of the EGM members reached 76%, the company said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

Last July, the board had recommended restoring the old name Mashaer Holding, which was changed in June 2016 to Awj Holding.

On another note, Awj’s profits increased to KWD 155,150 in the second quarter of 2017 as compared to KWD 75,140 in the year-ago period.
